When Workplaces Turn Pink for the Right Reasons
October 6, 2025It all began with a simple dream in my heart. A dream to build something that feels like people. A space where kindness breathes, where you walk in and feel seen.
Along the way, I realised something. Dreams do not grow because you work harder. They grow because of people who hold you up when you forget how strong you are.
Inspire became what it is because of them. The hearts that stood behind me through every high and every heartbreak. The ones who believed before the world did.
They are my why.
They are Inspire. And today, I want to tell you about them.
My Parents – My First Teachers
When I think of Inspire, I see my parents. The way they live. The way they treat people.
That’s where it started.
My mother… she’s the kind of person who makes strength look gentle. She never needed
to say much. She just did what had to be done -with care, with grace, with that
confidence that comes from knowing who you are. She was a teacher once.
I think she still is, only her classroom is life itself. She teaches me to listen before I
speak, to keep my word, to stay kind even when things get hard. Somehow, I believed
her more than anyone else.
My father, my Baba, is the calm in our family. When things feel too fast, I think of him.
He started as a teacher too, but he’s always had the mind of a builder. Steady hands,
long vision. He doesn’t chase things. He builds slowly, quietly, until they last. I learned
from him that patience is a form of power. That sometimes you lead best when you
speak least.
They are my roots. The reason Inspire feels human. Everything I try to build here- the
empathy, the belonging, the sense of purpose — it’s all them. I’m just carrying their way
of living into a different room.
My Sister, My Soulmate
Ola has always been my person. She knows me better than anyone else.
She is the first one I call when something goes right or goes wrong. She listens fully,
thinks, and then says exactly what I need to hear. She never tries to fix things. She helps
me see them clearly.
Ola has built her life with so much effort and heart. She works hard, leads well, and still
manages to stay kind. She believes that strength and softness can live together, and she
proves it every single day.
When I lose my balance, I look to her. She reminds me who I am. Every time people say
Inspire feels warm and grounded, I smile, because a lot of that warmth comes from her.
Hala, Jana and Hussam – My Everyday Strength
Hala and Jana keep me real. They remind me of what matters beyond work.
Watching them grow is my favourite thing in the world. They are curious and brave and
still carry that softness I never want them to lose. They ask questions that make me see
things differently. When I look at them, I see the same strength and kindness that runs
in the women of our family. They are still finding their path, but I know they will walk it
with courage.
And then there is Hussam. He is the reason I keep going. He never lets me forget who I
am. When I have doubts, he believes for both of us. When I am tired, he finds quiet ways
to help me rest. He has held my dream with me, every single day.
They are my balance. My peace. My reason to do this with heart.
Binu and Asma – My Steady Circle
Binu and Asma have been a big part of Inspire’s heartbeat.
Binu brings energy into every room he walks into. He has ideas that move fast and a
spirit that refuses to settle. I often joke that I feel jealous of his creativity and the zeal hecarries. But it is the good kind of jealousy — the kind that pushes you to think bigger. He
keeps Inspire young, curious and full of possibility.
Asma is different. She is the black box of Inspire. You may not always see her in the
spotlight, but she holds everything quietly together. She knows every detail, remembers
what others forget and always shows up when it matters. Her kindness and patience
have kept us steady through the toughest days.
Together, they remind me what teamwork really means. Binu brings the spark, Asma
brings the stillness, and somewhere in between, Inspire finds its rhythm.
Najma and Rashmi – The Everyday Magic
Najma and Rashmi bring two very different kinds of magic to Inspire.
Najma is the energy that fills the room. She works hard, gives her best, and somehow
keeps everyone laughing while doing it. She has a way of turning ordinary days into
something lighter. Her focus is sharp, her heart is big, and her smile makes work feel
easier. When I think of commitment, I think of her.
Rashmi is miles away, yet always close. She writes for me, but she also reads me in a
way very few people can. She understands what I mean even when I do not say it. Her
words carry my voice better than I ever could. I often tell her she surprises me with
every line she writes. She left one world behind to follow her love for writing, and that
courage shows in everything she does.
Both of them remind me why Inspire feels personal. It is built by people who care, who
show up with their full selves, and who make every part of this journey worthwhile.
The Hearts Behind Inspire
When I look at everything Inspire has become, I see faces before I see numbers. I see
moments, not milestones.
Every person I spoke about has shaped this journey in their own way. My parents taught
me what strength looks like. Ola who keeps me grounded. Hala and Jana who give my
work meaning. Hussam who stands by me through it all. Binu and Asma who keepInspire breathing. Najma and Rashmi remind me that heart and hard work can live
together.
Inspire was never built by one person. It grew because of people who cared enough to
believe in it, to give it their time, their ideas, and their love.
These are the hearts behind Inspire.
And as we celebrate another year of this journey, I would love for you to wish us a happy
anniversary — and to keep believing in the power of people who build with heart.
